Alan Rogers Review of The Oaks Caravan Park
Situated between Felixstowe and Ipswich and with views over open farmland, this pleasant, adults only touring park provides access to the surrounding countryside and towns, including the River Deben, Woodbridge and the Suffolk Heritage coast. Since opening in the summer of 2003, the park continues to attract many repeat visitors. Trees and shrubs planted around the perimeter and across the length of the site are now maturing, creating screening and shade for the 89 marked touring pitches. There are 79 electricity hook-ups (16A) and the well maintained grass pitches are laid out either side of an oval gravel path.
A summer house in the centre contains local information, newspapers and a small patio area with tables and chairs where visitors can sit and read. The site provides a minibus service in the evenings to local pubs/restaurants (by prior arrangement).

The single modern sanitary block provides bright and clean toilet and shower facilities. Motorhome services. . Gas is available at reception. Bicycle hire.
Directions to The Oaks Caravan Park
Site is between Bucklesham and Kirton. From A12 (south) or A14(12) (north) take A14 towards Felixstowe. Continue for 5 miles and turn left signed Bucklesham and Brightwell. Continue for 1 mile, past Tenth Road on left, take next right signed Kirton and Newbourne. Park is on right in 550 yds.
