This well kept site with 150 touring pitches and good facilities is suitable both as a base for longer stays and also for overnight stops, as it lies right by a main road west of Kitzbühel. It is on sloping ground, but most of the pitches are on level terraces. Some pitches are individual and divided by hedges and most have 8/10A electricity, cable TV connections, water and drainage. Space is usually available. There is a toboggan run from the site in winter. Good walks and a wealth of excursions by car are available nearby. There is some daytime road noise.

The site has two remarkable features – the large playground has a huge collection of most ingeniously devised fixed apparatus, and secondly, the superb sanitary facilities which are housed in one large two storey building. There are four smaller units around the site with WCs and washbasins only.

The main sanitary facilities are heated and of very high standard. The newest section has a large room with private cubicles. Some of these have vanity style washbasins, others have baths or showers. Two slightly larger units for families, with baby baths. accessible sanitary facilities. Washing machines and dryers. Motorhome services. Cooking facilities. Fridge. Small shop, bar/restaurant (both closed Nov). Heated swimming pool (16 x 8 m) and paddling pool (1/5-30/9). Sauna and solarium. Excellent playground and indoor playroom for wet weather. Youth room. Animation programme (Jul-Aug). WiFi over site (charged). Dog shower. Ski and drying rooms. Good English spoken.

From A12 exit 17 towards Wörgl Ost and Brixental. After 4 km. at roundabout turn right on B170 (Brixental). Site is 2 km. before Hopfgarten on left. Sat nav can be unreliable.
