A warm welcome awaits you at this neat and attractive former municipal site within walking distance of the market town of Saulieu, a well known Station Verte and gastronomic centre. There are 101 good sized grass pitches with 68 for touring, all have access to 10A electricity and water (some require long leads). They are partially separated by hedging and a variety of mature trees gives varying amounts of shade. Access is very easy for large outfits. This site is good as an overnight stop (close to the A6 autoroute) and as a base to explore the towns and villages in the Burgundy region of France.

The basilica Saint Andoche at Saulieu is one of Burgundy’s finest Romanesque churches which was built on the site of an eighth-century Abbey. Just north is the picturesque town of Avalon with its many promenades and restaurants. The site lies in the lesser-known but beautiful Morvan Park with its woods, hills and lakes.

Three small traditional sanitary blocks (heated) and one large block with baby changing area and accessible facilities. Basic shop, bar (unlicensed), snack bar with breakfast service (Seasonal). Pizza van calls (Wed and Sat pm). Swimming and paddling pools (June-Sept). Games/TV room. Football. Tennis. Volleyball. Boules. Very good play areas. Family activities (July/Aug). WiFi (charged).

From A6 autoroute (exit 23 Semur-en-Auxois) take D980 south to Saulieu. Turn right in town, D906 north. Site shortly on right after leaving town (signed).
