Summer Valley is a lovely rural site in a great location set between Truro and the A30 and is ideal for visiting and touring Cornwall, Truro is a short drive away, offering a good selection of major supermarkets and the opportunity to visit Truro Cathedral.

Upon arrival you will be made very welcome by Chris & Louise, who manage this site on behalf of the owners; Summer Valley is very well cared for, spacious, open plan, divided by an established row of trees down the centre that offers shade if required and being south facing this site enjoy uninterrupted sunshine most of the day (dependant on the Cornish weather).

The pitches around the perimeter area are semi-divided by shrubs and used more for tents. There is provision for 60 units of all types, 45 with 10/16A electricity connections.

The site is on a slight incline with an access road circling the perimeter; it offers modern, clean facilities, tourist information, a small shop and an outdoor bar open during the summer months. Should you drive an electric vehicle, there are now two E.V. charging points.

A pleasant little sitting room provides a small library and tourist information, useful for campers in inclement weather. A small, wooded area at the bottom of the park is ideal for dog walking. You will receive a very warm welcome from the owners, Andrew and Sarah, who are very enthusiastic about their home. A Countryside Discovery site.

Facilities at Summer Valley Touring Park

A good quality, solid toilet block is well maintained with ladies to the left and men to the right, plus unisex showers. Washbasins in cubicles and one shower/toilet en-suite. Laundry facilities. Rest room for campers with library. Reception/licensed shop (basics in high season) with freezer pack service. Gas supplies. Small play area hidden in one corner. WiFi (free).

Directions to Summer Valley Touring Park

Site is 2 miles north west of Truro. From A30 take B3284 south east towards Truro. After 1.5 miles site is signed just before village of Shortlanesend. Entrance lane leading directly to the site is to the right.
