Stowford Farm is a very large, friendly, family run park set in 500 acres of the rolling North Devon countryside, good for recreation and walking and within easy reach of five local beaches. The touring park and its facilities have been developed in the fields and farm buildings surrounding the attractive old farmhouse and provide a village-like centre with a comfortable, spacious feel. There are 710 marked pitches, separated by beech and ash hedges, on five slightly sloping meadows. Most have 10/16A electricity, nine are on hardstanding and all are accessed by hard roads.

Stowford also provides plenty to keep the whole family occupied without leaving the park, including woodland walks and horse riding from the park’s own stables. The Old Stable Bar offers entertainment in high season including barn dances, discos, karaoke and other musical evenings. There is also much for children to do, from the indoor heated pool and under-cover mini petting zoo (Petorama), to the wide range of organised activities on offer. In low season some facilities may only open for limited hours. However, it is also a good base for exploring the North Devon coast and Exmoor.

Five toilet blocks are fully equipped and include laundry facilities. The newest block (in field 5) has under-floor heating. Accessible Facilities and private family washrooms beside reception. Well stocked shop. Bars, restaurant and takeaway (April-Oct). Entertainment (high season). Indoor pool (heated Easter-Oct, charged). Riding. 18-hole pitch and putt. Crazy golf. ‘Kiddies kar’ track (all charged). Games room. Play area. Organised games and activities (high season). WiFi on part of site. ATM. Woodland walks.

From Barnstaple take A39 towards Lynton. After 1 mile turn left (B3230). Turn right at garage on A3123. Park is 1.5 miles on the right.
