Alan Rogers Review of Staffin Caravan & Camping Site
This site is just outside the village of Staffin on the east coast of Skye. There are 50 touring pitches, 26 with 16A electricity and hardstanding and 24 on grass without electricity. Pitches on the upper terrace enjoy lovely views of the sea. The entrance to the site from the main road is by a single track road.
A marked walk from the site across the headland leads to the seashore and slipway (good for walking dogs). Skye has many activities to offer and for the truly dedicated walker the Cuillins are the big attraction and the hills above Staffin are demanding in places!
The site provides an excellent base for hill walkers and climbers or for those of you who prefer an evening summer stroll, there are excellent walks nearby. The site is situated amongst the rural, unspoilt community of North Skye and has lots to offer for all that choose the location for a break. Dogs are welcome and nearby walks are provided.
Facilities at Staffin Caravan & Camping Site
