South Lea Caravan Park is in the market town of Pocklington. Situated at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds it is ideal for a quiet relaxing break. This family-owned site sits in 15 acres of flat grassland and is within easy distance of York, Hull, Beverley and the coast. The bus outside the park runs services to these locations giving you the opportunity to leave the car behind.

This spacious 4-star park provides 60 hardstanding and grass pitches (some seasonal), most with electric hook-up point. There are also a number of mobile homes on site.

For home cooked food, within walking distance is the Yorkway motel. Close to the site is a sports centre with swimming pool and gym. For golfers, there's the Kilnwick Percy Golf Club. Day-trippers can visit Millington Wood (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) and Pocklington canal head, with footpaths along the canal where you can watch the wildlife.

Location

Travelling from the west on the A1079 ignore the first turn off to Pocklington. Stay on the A1079 until you see the signs for the campsite. The turning will be on the left and the site is a short distance down this road on the left.
