Alan Rogers Review
Skyburriowe Farm is a small, friendly site on a dairy farm. Approached down a country lane away from the main road yet easily accessible for caravans and motor homes. Located at the gateway of the Lizard peninsular in an area of outstanding natural beauty, picturesque coves and beaches. Close to the historic town of Helston, the National Maritime Museum in Penzance and Flambards Theme Park.
With beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and its numerous wildlife, you may see the odd pheasant, buzzard, badger, fox or rabbit. The site has 40 grass or hardstanding pitches (some seasonal). Most with electric hook-up. Holiday cottage available for hire.
Facilities
Single toilet block provides showers, washbasins & WC’s. Accessible sanitary facilities. Family shower room. Dish washing area. Chemical toilet point. Pets welcome. Dog walk. Information area. Battery charging. Ice pack freezer. Bus stop 1 mile. Wi-Fi, free.
Location
Take the Lizard road A3083. At the end of RNAS Culdrose Air station there is a small round about. Carry on straight across remaining on the Lizard Road for approximately 1.5 miles. At the B&B Campsite sign turn left and follow the signs for half a mile. At this point look for the no through road sign, located on the right-hand side, as this is the approach road to the farm and the site. Please drive slowly in this area.
