This well established holiday park is now owned by Park Resorts and is primarily dedicated to caravan holiday homes, of which there are 625 privately owned and 70 to rent. There is however a pleasantly laid out touring park occupying its own corner of the site and bordered by an attractive duck pond and a large playing area (both well fenced). The 90 marked, level pitches (some occupied by seasonal caravans) are separated by hedges and all have 16A electricity; some also have water, drainage and sewerage connections. The leisure facilities are outstanding and a full daily programme of activities and entertainment is offered for children and adults.

Situated on the cliffs on the Yorkshire coast, south of Bridlington, beaches are either a good walk or a short drive away. There is a wide choice of possible days out: Beverley or York, each with its Minster and its horse racing; Spurn Point or Bempton Cliffs (RSPB); Cruckley Animal Farm or Bondville Miniature Village; Bridlington’s beaches and its Harbour Heritage Museum; even Pickering and the North York Moors are within easy reach.

Two heated toilet blocks with pushbutton showers, open washbasins and en-suite accessible facilities. Basic chemical disposal and motorhome service point. Washing machines and dryers. Well stocked shop. Bar, coffee shop and restaurant with takeaway. Leisure centre with sports hall, 10-pin bowling, heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Fitness centre with gym and sunbed. New entertainment complex. Fishing in duck pond (charged). WiFi (charged).

Directions to Skipsea Sands Holiday Park

Skipsea is 20 miles northeast of Hull and 10 miles south of Bridlington. From Humber Bridge or from M62, take A63 to Hull, east of city follow signs to join A165 towards Bridlington. After 18 miles, turn east on B1249 to Skipsea. In village, turn right then left to site (signed).
