Well under 2 hours drive north of Geneva, Sites et Paysages Beauregard is a charming, well-kept site nestled in the immaculately beautiful countryside of the Jura. Surrounded by fields and overlooked by wooded hills, it's a natural setting that is popular with families who value the activities on offer and the safe environment, as well as those who enjoy cycling and hiking amidst stunning scenery. Aside from the beautiful lakes (Clairvaux, Chalain, Vouglans and Ilay), there are magical waterfalls, vast caves and ancient abbeys to explore.

Run by the Péan family since 1976, Beauregard has 192 level grass pitches, all well delimited with neat hedging, small trees and colourful shrubs. There are 143 for touring units, all with 6A electricity (long leads may be necessary). There is a relaxed, friendly ambience here - it's a well-equipped site where the owners allow the surrounding scenery to speak for itself.

There is an adventure style playground and bouncy castles for children, plus tennis, boules courts and an outdoor fitness area. Just across the road from the site entrance (and under the same ownership) is a good restaurant serving regional dishes, plus a bar and takeaway.

Directions to Sites et Paysages Beauregard

From Lons-le-Saunier (easily accessed from A39) take N78/D678 southeast towards Clairvaux-les-Lacs. After 17 km. in Thuron (before Pont-de-Poitte) turn left on D151 to Mesnois. Site is 1 km. on left by road junction.
