Silver Sands Holiday Park is a small, peaceful ‘away-from-it-all’ park on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly part of mainland Britain. It is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the beautiful beaches of Kennack Sands are within a half mile walk. The park has two deluxe lodges & 13 static caravan holiday homes, attractively situated and divided into individual bays by shrubs and bushes. There are 15 pitches for touring caravans & motorhomes, all with 10/13A electricity. The adjoining tent field has 20 large grassy pitches, 15 with 10A electric hook-up and few slightly sloping. There is plenty of free space for children to play and there is a high quality adventure children’s play area. A member of the Countryside Discovery group, Visit Cornwall & BH&HPA. The park is only reached after passing Culdrose Naval Base and the Goonhilly Earth Station down a single track road. A half mile footpath leads down through a small valley to the twin beaches of Kennack Sands (one is dog-free) divided by a small headland. This is generally an unspoilt walking area with the coastal path passing through and it is under the care of English Nature.

Facilities at Silver Sands Holiday Park

Fully equipped and very clean toilet block includes an en-suite room for families. Washing machine. Wash Up Room with fridge and freezers. TV room. Good play equipment. A three-acre field can be used for games, kite flying, etc. WiFi cover part of site (charge applied).

Directions to Silver Sands Holiday Park

From Helston take A3038 Lizard Road. After Culdrose turn left on B3293 passing Goonhilly after 4 miles. At next crossroads turn right (Kennack Sands), continue for 1.5 miles signed Gwendreath down single track narrow lane for 1 mile to site.
