The Inn Valley is a very beautiful and popular part of Austria. Volders, some 15 km. from Innsbruck, is one of the little villages on the banks of the Inn river and is perhaps best known for its 17th-century Baroque Servite Church and monastery. Conveniently situated here is the most attractive Schloss-Camping, overlooked by the castle from which it gets its name, and which towers at the back of the site with views of the mountains across the Inn valley. The 160 numbered grass pitches (80-100 sq.m) are on level or slightly sloping ground. Electricity connections throughout (16A, long leads may be necessary).

Schloss Camping is beautifully laid out over two separate areas. The ground is firm and much care is taken in maintaining the all-grass pitches. The site roads are concrete and tarmac, giving a neat and tidy appearance. There are new owners, but the manager, Hans Streiter, continues to maintain high standards and offers a warm welcome to visitors. This is an excellent base from which to explore the region and visit Innsbruck, Salzburg, the fairytale castle Neuschwanstein at Füssen, the Bavarian Alps and northern Italy over the Brenner Pass for day trips.

New modern, attractive sanitary block to left of entrance, with washbasins in cabins. Accessible sanitary Facilities. Laundry room with washing machines and iron. Motorhome services. New attractive bar/restaurant, snack bar with terrace (all open to public). Bread and milk available. Fenced and heated swimming pool (mid May-mid Sept). Playground. Car wash. Games and entertainment for children in high season. Free WiFi over site.
