Nestling in the valley of the River Gwili, River View is an attractive, quiet and friendly park made up of three fields: one by the river which is kept for adults only and two on a plateau up a steep slope on the opposite side of the lane. Particular care has been taken to protect the natural environment. There are 60 level, generously sized pitches, all with 16A electricity, 44 have hardstanding and 12 are fully serviced. This is a popular rural retreat for young families and older couples. The park is close to the end of the M4. This allows easy access and there is plenty to do or see in the near vicinity, including castles, gardens, beaches, wildfowl reserves and a water park.

A Site of Special Scientific Interest is located immediately at the back of the park. The bird life visible from the site is varied and includes buzzards and red kites, and dippers on the river.

Facilities at River View Touring Park

Modern and immaculate toilet block, including an en-suite family room with baby changing facilities and one accessible unit, equipped to a very high standard with underfloor heating and automatic lighting. Laundry facilities. Small shop in reception for basics and local fresh produce. Large grassy recreation area on main field. Fishing. Dog walk area. Short woodland walk.

Directions to River View Touring Park

From M4 exit 49 take A483 signed Llandeilo. Take the first turn left (after layby) and park is on left after 300 yds. Do not use sat nav from Carmarthen direction.
