Situated close to the Vltava river and with good access to Prague, River Camping is a friendly site and an excellent base for visiting the city, but also for enjoying a range of outdoor activities such as cycling, walking and canoeing. Prague Old Town is just four kilometres away and can be reached by tram, metro and bicycle. The grassy pitches (90 sq.m) are off hard access roads, some with shade and others more open, and have access to electricity hook-ups. We see this as a good site for solo travellers and couples wishing to spend a couple of days exploring Prague.

Facilities at River Camping Prague

Modern sanitary blocks with hot showers, but can be stretched during busy periods. Washing machine. Reception stocks snacks and drinks. Bread to order. Barbecues (wood from reception). Bicycle hire. WiFi (free). Restaurant 150m

Directions to River Camping Prague

From road 8 (D8) take Most Barikadniku exit over bridge, bear right for Troja onto Nova Povltavska for 600m. Before tunnel take right turn away from bridge, follow tram route for 200 m. then turn left crossing tram tracks. Follow Povltavska Street for 500 m. to small hill on river dyke then riverbank. Site is on left. Use GPS co-ordinates.
