This woodland campsite is located close to the charming market town of Ringkøbing and its fjord. The woodland nature of the site means most of the level pitches have some shade. The facilities are somewhat dated but are kept very clean. This isn't a particularly touristy part of Denmark but this offers you a chance to escape into the countryside and experience a slower pace of life. A number of marked cycling and walking routes are available from the site and bikes are available to hire. Pets are well catered for with a dog agility course and leash-free walking available in the 20-hectare' dog forest.' Nearby attractions include the singing Guards of Ringkøbing, a 'modern' custom which dates back to 1975.
