Göhren lies alongside a sandy beach in a bay on the Baltic Sea, in one of the most beautiful areas of the island of Rügen. It is a large, modern site with 868 pitches of which 500 are for touring. Some are sheltered in the forest; others are near the beach. There is an excellent, modern 500 sq.m. wellness centre, and a bar/restaurant with a wide-ranging menu and wine list. The restaurant has a terrace overlooking a well-equipped play area.

There are many reserves including the Jasmund National Park, which has marshes, wetlands and dry grasslands, with the famous Königsstuhl chalk cliffs and beech forest. Walks, cycle routes and excursions offer a variety of ways to explore the region’s beautiful woodlands. The National Park’s rich flora and fauna include house martins that breed in the chalk cliffs and the rare sea eagle.

While the campsite is not specifically for naturists, there are two designated FKK areas on the nearby beach.

Directions to Regenbogen Göhren

From A20 exit 24 take B96 north for 19 km. to the island of Rügen, then B96 for 19 km. Right onto B196 just before Bergen, head southeast for 24 km. Follow signs to site.
