The Red Lion Riverside Caravan and Camping Park nestles on the banks of the River Severn near Gloucester. The site is open during the winter, subject to the weather. For angling enthusiasts, it offers coarse fishing along a stretch of the River Severn. Day Tickets or part day are available from the pub. (River subject to close season). It is also only approx. 5 minutes’ walk to a pub which offers food.

Set in 26 acres of glorious Gloucestershire countryside between the ancient historic towns of Gloucester and Tewkesbury and close to the beautiful Forest of Dean. Regency Cheltenham Spa is just a few miles away. The site is an ideal base for touring the area with so much to do within easy travelling distance.

From Gloucester, travel 4 miles north on the A38 and fork left at Norton (signposted Wainlode Hill). The site is about 1 mile down the road on the right hand side. From Tewkesbury, travel 3 miles South on the A38, then turn right onto the B4213. In approximately 3 miles turn left (signposted Wainlode Hill). Alternatively, continue on the A38 for 6 miles and fork right at Norton (signposted Wainlode Hill).
