Alan Rogers Review
This is a sophisticated, wooded site with 150 touring pitches out of a total of 490, all with 6/10A electricity. The swimming pool has a fun pool with slides, a large pool for young children, imaginatively designed, a separate pool for length swimming and even a flume. Also popular, is the cosy restaurant/bar.
There is a play club for children, a playing field and a petting farm. Other activities available include minigolf, table tennis and a pool table. Active visitors might enjoy a game of volleyball or football. A member of the Ardoer Group.
Voorthuizen is a small town close to the site, while Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, The Kröller-Müller Museum (a large collection of Van Gogh paintings), and the Hoge Veluwe National Park are all easily visited by car.
Just 1 km. away is Recreatieplas Zeumeren, a large lake with a sandy beach and wealth of facilities - ideal for a picnic or just a stroll around the lake. You will also find SchatEiland there, which has plenty of entertainment for children. The friendly, helpful reception will be pleased to tell you about all that the surrounding area has to offer.
Three toilet blocks are conveniently situated around the touring areas. En-suite unit for disabled campers. Laundry. Well stocked shop. Bar with TV. Restaurant. Snack bar/takeaway. Heated indoor pool. Play area. Entertainment for younger children (high season). Bicycle hire. WiFi over site. Accommodation for hire. Max. 1 dog per pitch.
From the A1 between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn, take exit 16 N303 to Voorthuizen then onto the N344 towards Garderen. The site is signed soon after leaving Voorthuizen.Link to campsite location map on google
