Camping Parc de Loisirs du Val Fleuri is a wooded holiday centre, located close to the pleasant town of Cloyes-sur-le Loir. There are 196 grassy touring pitches here, all with 6A electricity and all of a good size (ranging from 100-150 sq.m). Most are separated by hedges and tall trees provide ample shade. A selection of mobile homes is available to rent (there is also a separate residential park for permanent homes). The public leisure park next to the site offers free access to campers and is ideal for smaller children. Its facilities include a swimming pool with water slides, a bouncy castle, pony rides and a small train that trundles around the park. There is a restaurant with a terrace at the front of the leisure park.
Cloyes-sur-le Loire is just five minutes away on foot and is best known as one of the stages on the pilgrim’s route to Santiago de Compostella. There are plenty of shops and restaurants here, and its well worth viewing the town’s château. There are also many good waymarked walking tracks, including a pleasant riverside stretch from the site to Cloyes.
