Alan Rogers Review of Parc Camping les Cigales
Parc les Cigales is an accommodation-only site benefiting from the shady environment of cork umbrella pines, further enhanced by olives, palm trees and colourful shrubs. The terrain is typical of the area with rough, sloped and stony, dry ground, but the pitches are of a good size, terraced where necessary and nestling amongst the trees. There are 450 pitches in total, 277 mobile homes and chalets to rent; the remainder are privately owned. The restaurant/bar area overlooks the attractive new aquapark. Convenient for the autoroute (from which there is road noise), this is a spacious family site away from the coast.
The site has recently undergone some renovation and now includes a small fishing lake at the entrance. There is also a new beauty and wellness centre, but the ‘piece de resistance’ is the treetop adventure park with courses for all ages. All the necessary safety equipment is in evidence, and it is open to the public, with costs varying according to the degree of difficulty.

Accessible sanitary facilities, Laundry facilities. Shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway (1/4-30/9). New aquapark. New wellness centre. Play area. Treetop adventure park. Small fishing lake. Archery. Multisports court. Evening entertainment in season, disco twice weekly, daytime activities for all. WiFi (charged). No charcoal barbecues.

From A8, Le Muy exit 36, site is signed (west of Le Muy on N7, 2 km). After the toll booth, at the first roundabout turn left. Site is well signed.
