Prinsenmeer is a large family site with many facilities. It surrounds a large artificial lake which has a sandy beach. The site is part of the De Groote Peel nature reserve, very popular for walking and cycling or even touring by car. There are 1,310 pitches here, of which 680 are reserved for touring. Pitches are flat and grassy and generally well shaded. They all have electrical connections (10A), water and cable TV. Pedaloes can be hired for use on the lake, and there is a pirate ship and water slides too. In addition, the site boasts a sub-tropical pool complex.

The Prinsenhof Plaza is a large entertainment complex with a playground, bowling alley and lounge, as well as a number of restaurants and bars and evening entertainment (professional musicals in high season). A member of the Oostappen Group.

Good heated toilet blocks dispersed over the site. Facilities for babies and disabled visitors, and special family rooms. Restaurants, bars and takeaway (1/7-1/9). Ice cream parlour. Lake with water slides. Sub-tropical swimming pool complex with whirlpool, sauna and slides. Lively entertainment programme and children’s club (high season). Bicycle hire. Mobile homes and chalets to rent. WiFi (charged).

Site is 2.5 km. northeast of Asten. From A67 (Eindhoven-Venlo) take exit 36 to Asten. Just before entering Ommel turn left to site (well signed).
