The Van Oost family run this neat campsite in a pleasant and personal way. It is located on the outskirts of the village of Renesse in a quiet rural spot. From May to September a free bus runs to Renesse and the beach, just 2 km. away. De Wijde Blick has 328 pitches with 218 for touring units, all with 6/10A electricity and TV connections, and 90-120 sq.m. in area. Of these, 16 have private sanitary facilities and 202 are fully serviced. There are 20 attractively arranged motorhome pitches with hardstanding, and ten special ‘bike and hike’ pitches for those touring without a car. Cars must be parked away from pitches.

Children are welcomed by the campsite mascot, Billy Blick, and will thoroughly enjoy the large playground, the indoor activity room or an evening at the theatre. There is a good entertainment programme and an area set aside for teenagers.

The toilet blocks are solar heated, with special children’s sections and an interesting schedule of how the technology works. This is a real holiday area and there are restaurants and shops in the village (and a market on Wednesdays).

Directions to Molecaten Park Wijde Blick

Renesse is on the island of Schouwen (connected to the mainland by a bridge and three dams). On the N57 from Middelburg take the Renesse exit. After 2 km. follow road 106 to the left and then site signs. Site is on the east side of the village.
