This is a simple, peaceful and well maintained site with a relaxed feel and helpful, friendly owners. The highest terraces on this campsite have commanding views over the valley and to the surrounding mountains. The roads up to the level, terraced, hillside pitches (100) are paved. Some of the 80 touring pitches are large, some grassy and a few hedged for privacy, many with outstanding views and lovely trees. Six are fully serviced with water, drainage and 10A electricity. Rock pegs advised. The reception is near the bar/café that serves a very limited range of snacks and some local produce, including the wine of the region.

Explore the region of the Roussillon with its wines, its historic sites including the military fortress as it would have been in the time of Louis XVI, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. On the nearby slopes are vineyards and, lower in the valley, large quantities of geraniums are grown professionally. The beautiful, original old farmhouse is situated near the top of the property. If crossing the Spanish border at Le Perthus, expect long delays particularly off the autoroute as the road travels through the extremely busy and narrow main street where shoppers hunt for border bargains.

Two sanitary blocks, one closed in low season, the other with accessible facilities. Washing machine. Motorhome services. Limited bar/café (mid June to end Sept). Bread (July/Aug). Small swimming pool (mid May-Oct). Sauna, spa and fitness equipment. Volleyball. Games room. Electronic games. Torches necessary. Riding. Bicycle hire. Only gas barbecues.

Directions to Mas Llinas Camping

Le Boulou is 26 km. north of Spanish border. South from Perpignan, A9 or N9 to Le Boulou (30 km). Site well signed from town, on northern outskirts, approached via light commercial area. Follow road uphill for 2 km.
