With direct beach access and many pitches located along the dusky sand beach and looking out to sea, Marina de Aleria retains its natural setting on the tree lined foreshore. This site is about the sand, sea and sun. Pitches vary in size, most are shaded and fairly level. Long power leads are essential. Entertainment is provided in the hub of the site where the shops, bar restaurant and takeaway food can be found. The entertainment was fun and the children and adults all appeared to be enjoying themselves, the setting was delightful with the sea and the sound of water in the background. There are plans for a swimming pool to be added.

The area is ideal for fishing in both the lake and sea and is brilliant for all kinds of watersports. There are lots of interesting tourist attractions nearby as the site is midway between Bastia and Porta-Vecchio. If, however, you like little luxuries such as modern bathrooms and gravel on the roads to keep the dust down, this site will not suit you. This is rugged camping, and in dry windy weather the dust could become a real challenge.

Two blocks with unisex British style toilets and hot showers in cubicles of varying standards. Cold water at the sinks. Washing machines. Motorhome services (extra charge). Bar. Restaurant. Pizzeria. Gelateria. Shop. A new swimming pool is planned for the 2015 season. Play area. Miniclub. Animation in high season (July/Aug). Tennis. Minigolf. Pedalos. Fishing. Bicycle hire. Boat launching. Free WiFi.

Directions to Marina d’Aleria Camping

Site is east of Aleria on the RN198. Approaching Aleria from the south, 500 m. from the edge of town, before the only roundabout, there is a huge sign advising you to take a right turn towards the site and the coast. Follow road to the sea and site entrance is on the water’s edge.
