Lower Polladras is a small, friendly park located north of Helston in beautiful rolling Cornish countryside. There are 60 pitches, with 44 reasonably level, grass touring pitches, 40 of them with 16A electricity. The remaining pitches are for mobile homes and seasonal campers. The site has a strong conservation interest and is actively working towards carbon neutral status. A two-acre area adjoining the park accommodates play equipment for children and a sports area. The upper level here is reserved for 28-day camping in the peak season. A nature and dog walk has been developed around the perimeter.

There are some excellent walks and cycle tracks in the surrounding countryside and the park’s owners will be pleased to recommend possible routes. This part of Cornwall has a great deal of interest. The Eden Project is within easy reach and Helston is a delightful town, best known perhaps for its annual Furry Dance. Beyond Helston is the Lizard Peninsula, a stunning stretch of coastline leading to Lizard Point, the most southerly point of mainland Britain.

Directions to Lower Polladras Touring Park

Take A394 from Helston towards Penzance. On edge of Helston, turn right onto B3302, signed Camborne and Hayle. Take second left to Carleen. Once in village take second right and follow signs to park.
