Alan Rogers Review of Littlesea Holiday Park
With an impressive situation, Littlesea is one of Haven’s flagship parks with an amazing range of facilities and overlooking the lagoon and Chesil beach. A total of 800 pitches allows for a good number of privately owned mobile homes, with more still for sale and to rent, plus a splendid touring area (155 pitches) on the cliff top with sea views. Most pitches have 16A electricity. Some small simple tent pitches are perched right on the cliff top. As with other Haven Parks, there are indoor and outdoor pools, a wide range of sporting activities including a multisports court and entertainment for all the family.
The wardens for the touring area do a sterling job looking after customers and keeping the purpose-built toilet block immaculate. The lagoon is a nature reserve so the nearest beach is at Sandsfoot (2.5 miles). The coastal path passes through the park and from the touring area you look across to the rest of the site with Portland in the distance. Amongst the amenities on the park are Starbucks and Papa John’s Pizzas, but pride of place is the Mash and Barrel, Haven’s new type of pub/eating place with decking overlooking the lagoon and Chesil beach.
