Alan Rogers Review of Les Jardins du Morbihan
Close to Vannes and the Golfe du Morbihan in southern Brittany, Camping du Haras is a small, family run site in a rural location. There are 140 pitches, in a variety of settings, both open and wooded, the pitches are well kept and of a good size, all with electricity (4-16A) and most with water and drainage. Whilst M. Danard intends keeping the site quiet and in keeping with its rural setting, he provides plenty of activities for lively youngsters, including some organised games and evening parties. Adults will enjoy the new wellness area with indoor pool, spa, sauna and massage facilities.
There is a good pool with waves, three slides, fountains and plenty of sunbathing space. Small animals are kept at the animal park on site and there is a riding school nearby. An artificial beach has been created to provide facilities for beach volleyball and other beach games. The site is close to a small airfield, where there are opportunities for leisure flights over the Morbihan, Vannes and Carnac areas, all of which are also easily accessible by car. The beaches are 15 km.
Facilities at Les Jardins du Morbihan
The modern toilet blocks (heated) provide a few washbasins in cabins and controllable showers. Facilities for babies and accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. No shop but basics are kept in the bar. Bar with snacks (May-Oct). Restaurant and takeaway (July/Aug). Outdoor pool with waves and slide (1/5-31/10). Indoor pool complex and spa (6/4-17/9). Play area. Animal park. Trampoline. Minigolf. Organised activities (high season). Kids club, Free WiFi in reception and bar (charged over site). Possibility of private bathrooms on pitch.

From Vannes on N165 take exit signed Pontivy and airport on the D767. Follow signs for airport and Meucon. Turn right on the D778, follow airport and yellow campsite signs.
