At the gateway to the majestic National Park and Lakes, near Killarney town, this family-run, seven-acre park offers high quality. Pitches vary in size and spacing and have 10A electricity. Many pitches have a good grass area for awnings, and 21 also have dedicated electricity, water and drainage. The grounds are neat and tidy, with a feeling of space.
Killarney Flesk Caravan & Camping is ideally situated at the start of the Kerry Way and is well located for visiting Killarney and the famous Ring of Kerry. Walking and cycle paths lead directly from the park to Killarney National Park and the adjacent lakes, providing access to Killarney's world-famous woodlands and mountain scenery and flora and fauna. A short stroll away is the brooding Ross Castle and its pier, where you can embark on a pleasant lake cruise and enjoy the landscape slipping past you. Nearby is Muckross Abbey, burned down by Oliver Cromwell in 1652, two centuries after its founding but now a notable landmark of historical interest.
The Flesk park is under the same management as the adjacent Victoria House Hotel and, being the nearest camping park to Killarney’s town centre is within easy walking distance from the shops and restaurants. Leisure facilities are available at the nearby Gleneagle Hotel. The town’s world-famous jaunting cars pass by the entrance to the park.
