Kampeerterrein Woud Texel can be found on the island of Texel and is a pleasant site with 165 large pitches (minimum 120 sq.m). All pitches have electrical connections (6-16A). The spacious camping area comprises several fields surrounded by trees. The emphasis is very much on the quality of the natural environment, and there are few amenities on site. Additionally, cars may only be parked on site for arrival and departure. At all other times, they must be left at the spacious car park at the site entrance. A number of luggage carts are available for transporting groceries and the like.

A large field is provided for various sports, including football, volleyball and basketball and there is also a good play area for children. Dogs are welcomed on site and one field is reserved for campers with dogs (they are not allowed elsewhere). Cycling is popular on Texel and the beach can be reached in around ten minutes. The island’s main town, Den Burg, is also close at hand.

Directions to Kampeerterrein Woud Texel

There is an hourly ferry service to the island from Den Helder (until 21.00). Upon arrival on the island follow signs to Den Burg and then Woutershok on road 11. The site is clearly signed.
