Kaiser Camping, formerly Tenda Camping & Freizeitpark, is located at the foot of the Alps near the health resort of Bad Feilnbach in a region known for plentiful sunshine, a mild climate and beautiful alpine views. It is a large, modern and well maintained site with over 1,000 pitches, half of which are devoted to touring units. In addition there is a stopover area near reception. The pitches are on grass with good access roads, mainly in open rows separated by trees and hedges; all with 16A electricity. There is a separate area for tents and from the more open parts of the site there are views of the Alps.

Reception is well stocked with tourist information brochures as well as full details of services offered by the neighbouring health resort. Although useful as a night stop for travellers on the A8 München-Salzburg autobahn, it is well worth spending some time here. An attraction not to be missed is the Wendelstein-Ringlinie, a 90 km. bus tour that circles the Wendelstein mountain (height 1,838 m). The route passes the campsite and there are stops at the cable car and rack railway stations. A family ticket covers the bus journey plus trips on the rack railway and cable car.

Six well maintained, heated toilet blocks have free showers, some washbasins in cabins. Accessible facilities (Europe key). Baby room. Motorhome services. Washing machines and dryers. Kitchen with hot plates to rent. Shop. Fresh bread to order. Restaurant with beer garden and takeaway (daily 15/6-15/9). Outdoor pool (20x8 m; heated May-Sept). Six play areas and paddling pool. Entertainment for children (July/Aug). WiFi (free after 2nd night).

Location

From the A8 München-Salzburg autobahn take exit 100 for Bad Aibling and proceed south towards Bad Feilnbach. Site is signed to the right, 3 km. from the autobahn exit, shortly before reaching Bad Feilnbach.
