Ideal Camping Lampele can be found on the banks of the Ossiacher See, the third largest lake in Carinthia. Pitches (80-120 sq.m) are grassy and semi-shaded, all with 8A electrical connections. Forty-five mobile homes are available for hire. The site has its own private beach and a grassy sports field adjacent. There is also a children’s play area and bouncy castle. The restaurant (with a pleasant covered terrace) is popular with campers and local people and offers a range of local and international cuisine, including pizzas. There is also a takeaway food service.

Various activities are organized in peak season, including a children’s club and separate activities for teenagers. Many sports are possible in the area, including hiking, mountain biking, sailing, canoeing and a nearby summer toboggan run. The nearest village is Ossiach, on the southern side of the lake. This is a pretty spot with an annual classical music festival and a former Benedictine monastery which dates back to the 11th century.

The modern, well maintained, heated sanitary block at the top of the site has all facilities including free, controllable showers, private cabins, a baby room, Accessible facilities and a dog shower. A further small unit with WCs and washbasins is near the beach. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Bar/restaurant. Shop. Takeaway. Direct lake access with small jetty. Fishing. Directions to Ideal Camping Lampele

Site is 10 km. southwest of Klagenfurt. Approaching from north (Salzburg) head south on A10 as far as Villach/Ossiacher See exit. Leave motorway here and head east on L49 towards Ossiach and then follow signs to the site.
