Huttopia Divonne Les Bains is situated in the Haut Jura National Park, close to the Swiss border. It is in a large natural area surrounded by mountains and open countryside, only 3 km. from the lakeside spa town of Divonne-les-Bains. There are many swimming and watersports areas on the lake as well as on the much larger Lake Geneva, which is only 9 km. away. The wooded, nine hectare, terraced site has 231 pitches of which 181 are for touring units. These vary in size greatly so offer something for backpackers, as well as those with large units. Drivers of motorhomes may find levelling an issue on some of the sloping pitches. Most pitches have 10A electricity, many have shade and some have views over the lake and magnificent Mont Blanc.

This is a good, quiet family site with a programme of activities which finishes at 23.00 hrs. It is an ideal base for exploring this wonderful area of France and the French speaking area of Switzerland. The interesting spa town of Divonne-les-Bains has many attractions including a Sunday market, casino, golf course, hippodrome, cultural centre and man-made lake. The lake water is supplied by springs originally used by the Romans to supply their garrison town at Nyon (founded by Julius Caesar) only 8 km. away. Further afield you will find Gex (in France) and Geneva and Lausanne (in Switzerland).

the French school holidays (spring, summer and autumn breaks) and over bank holiday weekends. Only on weekends outside of these periods.
Heated swimming and paddling pools with sunbathing area and loungers (April-Sept). Volleyball. Boules. Tennis. Play area. Games/TV room. Children’s club, sports tournaments, evening entertainment (July/Aug). Family area, library, board games, table football. Charcoal barbecues not permitted. Free WiFi in central pavilion. From A1 motorway (in Switzerland) exit 10 (Coppet) onto D15 northwest into France. Continue to Divonne-les-Bains (2.7 km.) and follow signs for 1.4 km. to site.
