This attractive, neat park is close to the main A38 Exeter-Plymouth road and makes a good, sheltered base for touring south Devon and Dartmoor. The hedged park is arranged on well kept grass surrounding a shallow depression, the floor of which makes a safe, grassy play area for children. There are many attractive trees and the park is decorated with flowers. In two main areas and accessed by tarmac roads, there are 150 level pitches with 115 for touring, 100 equipped with 10A Europlugs. Seventy fully serviced pitches are on hardstanding, while 25 are reserved for tents. There is some traffic noise.

A picturesque eight acre meadow provides space for tents and rural walks with views across the countryside. Adventure play equipment is provided for children, with badminton and tennis nets and an extra meadow for recreation. There may be some traffic noise on pitches to the west of the park. This pleasant, well run park with no other on-site amenities would suit couples or families who prefer a peaceful stay.

Directions to Holmans Wood Holiday Park

From Exeter on A38 Plymouth road, 0.5 miles after the racecourse and just after a garage, take Chudleigh exit (signed). Park is immediately on the left. From Plymouth turn off A38 for Chudleigh/Teign Valley, then right for Chudleigh. Continue through the town and park is 1 mile.
