In a mountain setting north of Seefeld and away from the main routes (particularly for caravans), Holiday Camping is not for single night stops but is well suited for those wanting to spend a few days or longer in a quiet setting (no groups are accepted) with opportunities for walking, climbing or touring. Although there are mountains on either side, the site itself is level and offers fine views. Trees decorate the site (but give little shade) and it has a pleasant appearance with plants and shrubs. There are 145 level, numbered pitches of grass on stones, all with electricity (6/12A), water, drainage and TV sockets.

The site works closely with the local tourist board to offer a variety of free excursions, walking, mountain biking and games for children. Good English is spoken by the friendly owners.

Facilities at Holiday Camping

Two modern, heated sanitary blocks (one recently refurbished to a high standard) provide all washbasins in cabins. Baby room. Accessible sanitary facilities. Family bathrooms to rent. Washing machines, dryers, irons. Motorhome services. Shop. Good restaurant with music twice weekly in high season. Excellent indoor heated pool and children’s pool also has a sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and sunbeds. Playground. Games room. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Activities and excursions. Baby sitting service.

Directions to Holiday Camping

Site is 4 km. north of Leutasch; caravans should approach either from Seefeld from the north or via Telfs-Mosern-Seefeld from the south. The road from Mittenwald-Leutasch is banned to trailers and the 177 Zirl-Seefeld road is also unsuitable (16% gradient).
