Alan Rogers Review of Himmerland Camping
Himmerland Camping is in beautiful Himmerland, close to the Limfjord, and the towns of Nibe and Løgstør, as well as just half an hour’s drive from Aalborg. The site provides you and your family lots of fun activities for children and young souls during the season. The site is in quiet natural surroundings. Nearby are both lakes where you can swim or fish, as well as forests with the possibility of good hiking and/or cycling.
If you are a golfer, you will be interested to know that the site has arranged a “Green Fee” agreement with Himmerland Golf & Country Club. Northern Europe’s largest golf course, located only 4 km from the site. The site has 60 grass touring pitches and most have an electric hook-up point. There are also 11 cabins available to hire.

Toilet block with showers, washbasins and wc’s. Family bathrooms. Laundry room with washing machines, dryers and ironing boards. Children’s playground with bouncy pillow. Football field. outdoor chess board. Boules court. Moon-cars. Large bonfire area. Barbecue hut. Communal kitchens. Snack bar. Cycle hire. Pool table. Table football. Indoor adult and children’s swimming pool from Easter to October. Water slide. Security barrier.
Directions to Himmerland Camping
From the E45 take route 13 the route 29 to Aars. Continue North on route 29 until you reach Bjørnstrupvej. Now turn left and the site is on the right on this road.
