The village of Fügen lies about six kilometres from the A12 autobahn at the start of the Zillertal, so is well placed for exploring the valley and the area around Schwaz. Easy to reach, Camping Zillertal is a very attractive site with excellent facilities and 190 marked pitches (170 for touring units) on flat grass and gravel. All have 16A electricity, water and drainage and there are some hardstandings for motorhomes. The site is a good overnight stop and useful for a longer stay but, being on a main road, there is a little daytime road noise.

A programme of games and entertainment for children is organised in summer, with bicycle trips and hiking for adults. A sauna and solarium are new additions. The central amenities building contains an outstanding range of sanitary facilities of the highest quality, plus sauna and solarium. A small lounge overlooks the pool, a stream and an eco-pond where children can paddle. There are two superbly equipped playrooms for wet days, and playgrounds and sports pitches outside. The site is popular with many Dutch campers who return year after year.

Site is 30 km. east of Innsbruck. From the A12 motorway take exit 39 and turn south on B169 towards Mayrhofen for 5 km. Site signed to right Camping Hell. Turn in and immediately left to site.
