Gruinard Bay Caravan Park is a beach-front site set in one of the most outstanding areas of natural beauty on Scotland’s west coast. There is a small grocery, post office and petrol station within a 3 minute walk from the site. Pets are welcome (only guide dogs in the letting holiday caravans). A small burn runs along side the park which can be fished (but trout should be returned).

A small, privately owned caravan park, it takes pride in its friendly style of service to visitors and has a lot of repeat visitors. The site has 35 grass or hardstanding pitches (some seasonal) with the majority on the seafront. Most with electric hook-up points. Separate camping area and 6 holiday caravans available for hire.

Directions to Gruinard Bay Caravan Park

The site is in the village of Laide on the right-hand side of the A832 main coast road from Braemore Junction to Gairloch. Approaching from the north (which is the recommended route for caravans) the site is about 29 miles from Braemore Junction which is itself on the A835(T) Inverness to Ullapool road. Leave Inverness on A9(T); take 2nd exit at Tore roundabout to A835. At next roundabout (Maryburgh), take 2nd exit to Ullapool. Pass through Contin & Garve and continue 20 miles to Braemore Junction. Turn left on to A832 and reach Laide 29 miles later.
