Camping les Granges is located on the edge of Luynes, a pretty town with a choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Its small château can be seen from the entrance to this modest site with its 30 touring pitches and a wide choice of rental accommodation on the remaining 37. Pitches have 10A electricity and access to water. There is a heated swimming pool and a snack bar which is open all season. In the centre of the site is a green space for games, and a children’s club is held every morning in high season. English is spoken at reception in high season.

Flower Camping les Granges is well situated for exploring the châteaux of the Loire, many of which are within comfortable travelling distance, including Villandry, Tours, Chenonceau and Azay-le-Rideau. In addition, the Loire à Vélo is close at hand with its 800 km. network of attractive cycle tracks. The area is well known for its gastronomy and wines as well as its cultural heritage. Little English is spoken at the small reception, but information about the attractions of the area is readily available.

Luynes is west of Tours. Take exit 7 from A85 and the D952 to Luynes. Campsite is signed in town.
