At Flamingo Land, the site provides 200 hard standing pitches, all with electric hook up. These facilities are fully supported by 3 modern toilet blocks, providing shower and toilet facilities, plus a launderette and mini supermarket. In July and August, the capacity is extended to welcome up to 175 more tents by opening a second field. This grassland area has forty electric hook ups and two further toilet blocks. Flamingo Land provides a warm welcome to those who enjoy the freedom of outdoor living, with substantial facilities for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes. It is not just a great way to enjoy a fantastic Theme Park & Zoo, it also provides a base for those looking to explore the local landscape or engage in some retail therapy amongst the medieval streets of York.
During high season, guests are asked to pay a one off charge covering access to the Theme Park & Zoo, Leisure complex and The Club. However, low season special offers are inclusive of the above. A multi-discipline sports complex has two pools, gymnasium, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and spa pool. Outdoor is a water play area, rock wall climbing, zorbing, archery and five-a-side football and a 9-hole golf course, free of charge to guests. Family of 4 would pay approx. £500/week.
