First Camp Grenen Strand is at the tip of Denmark, Situated directly on a private beach and within easy walking distance of the charming town of Skagen, this well-maintained campsite is the perfect base for exploring the stunning North Jutland region. The site has 248 pitches of which 240 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point. There are also 8 accommodation units to hire. 

On-site facilities include impeccably clean, sanitary facilities and a playground with a bounce pad to entertain the little ones. For the active campers, why not have a game or town of football with fellow campers on the football field?  Enjoy the sandy beaches of North Jutland right on your doorstep. Take long walks along the shore or hop aboard the "Sandormen," a traditional tractor that transports nature enthusiasts of all ages. Explore the area by bicycle or learn to windsurf on the waves for a more active vacation.

No visit to Skagen is complete without witnessing the "meeting of the two seas." Just above the town, the Kattegat and Skagerrak intersect,  creating a special pattern in the sea. The surf from both sides is a beautiful natural phenomenon, but be careful. The current is treacherously strong here, so you cannot swim on this stretch.

Directions to First Camp Grenen Strand

From the E45 at Aalborg continue on the E45 to Frederikshavn. Join Route 40 towards Albaek and Skagen. Continue on the R40 The site is located approximately 400 metres north of Skagen. From Skagen continue towards Grenen. After 400 metres the site is on the right.
