Alan Rogers Review of Fir Tree Farm Caravan Site

Fir Tree Farm is a quiet, all year round and very secluded site with good road access and exceptional views over open countryside. The site has electric hook-ups and hardstanding’s plus a shower and toilet block with washing-up area. There are two well stocked fishing lakes on the site, and a Falconry centre with clubhouse and snack bar selling a variety of snacks, sweets, cold drinks, ice creams etc. Pets are allowed on site and there is a large dog walking area next to the site with public foot paths leading across the beautiful countryside. The site has 35 grass or hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up points for caravans, motor homes as well as 25 for tents.

A host of cultural, sporting and natural attractions and places of interest are within easy reach. Blenheim Palace, The National Motor Museum at Gaydon, the nearby National Herb Centre, Burton Dassett Hills Country Park, Warwick Castle, Warwick Racecourse, National Trust properties such as Upton House and Farnborough Hall, Bicester Village Outlet Shopping, Compton Verney Art Gallery, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Broughton Castle and William Morris' home Kelmscott Manor. Short 1/2 mile walk to The Falcon which is dog friendly and has food available most of the time every day - some lovely beers too!
