Attractively situated with pleasant views on high ground above, but not overlooking, the Danube (on which there is a regular boat service), this well run, quiet site has only 125 large pitches, of which 40 are for permanent caravans. All pitches are numbered, with electricity connections (16A), and stand on terraces mostly in rows of five or six with a high hedge backing each row, many with some shade. Reservations are advisable in season. Public swimming pools – a heated indoor pool and an outdoor one heated with solar panels – are just below the site.

The heated toilet block provides washbasins, mainly in cubicles. Washing machines and dryer. Cooking facilities. Motorhome services. Basic supplies at reception. Restaurant and bar in July/Aug and Xmas. TV room. Sports field. Garden chess. Minigolf. Extensive playgrounds. Outdoor fitness facilities. Tennis. Petting zoo.

Leave A3 (E56) Regensburg-Linz autobahn at Passau-Nord exit for the B388 towards Wegescheid. At Obernzell, turn left at Gottsdorf sign and follow to site. The entrance is just before village on left.
