Farditch Farm Caravan Park is a small, convenient all-year site which sits on the edge of the Peak District. In the village of Chelmorton, the site is also just a short drive from the market town of Bakewell and the spa town of Buxton. Perfect for couples or families wanting an excellent base to explore the local towns and villages. There are four different pitch types to choose from, all of which sleep up to six people.
There are just three non-electric hardstanding pitches for small motorhomes only and three small electric hardstanding pitches for small campervans only. Then there are nine fully serviced hardstanding pitches with electric, water hook up and drainage, suitable for a caravan, awning and a car. Finally, there are two large, fully serviced hardstanding pitches with electric, water and drainage, which allow larger motorhomes. There are also holiday cottages available to hire.
The site is a perfect base for discovering all the numerous nearby walks and has the benefit of a village pub for food and refreshments after a long day’s activity. The location is also excellent for cyclists, with many beautiful trails nearby, including the Tissington, High Peak and Monsal trails and cycle paths. Just a short drive away, you can visit Chatsworth House, its farm shop and gardens, and the prestigious Church Inn is less than a mile away. For those of you who don’t want to drive, there is also a convenient bus service to the local town within walking distance.
