Fakenham Racecourse site offers a variety of pitches that are spread over four self-contained areas. Some pitches are sheltered by conifer belts, some enclosed within the setting of the racecourse paddock and some line the rails overlooking the Racecourse and Golf course. The park offers both relaxing and energetic holiday attractions for the whole family. 125 pitches with 15 amp electricity, a mixture of hardstanding and grass. 23 tent pitches (10 with electricity). TV hookups. Some seasonal pitches. Fakenham Racecourse is a Member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club Affiliated Site Scheme, but non-members are also very welcome.

The attractive market town of Fakenham is a conveniently short distance away, giving easy access to the local shops and market and auction held every Thursday. There is a frequent bus service from the town to various destinations including the nearby seaside resort of Wells-next-the-Sea. The site is also an ideal base for exploring Norfolk’s varied attractions and rural scenery. You will also have access to the adjacent sports centre where you can have a relaxing drink and bar meal. You can also play golf, tennis, or squash (charges applicable).

Location

On approaching Fakenham from any major route follow the brown and white racecourse signs with symbols of caravan and tent which all refer to this site. Turn down the private tree lined road to the racecourse. Go past the tennis courts on your right, past the sports centre on your left and continue over speed humps to the reception building on your right.
