Erlebnis-Comfort-Camping Aufenfeld is an outstanding site, situated in a wide mountain valley with fine views and first class facilities. The main area of the site itself is flat with pitches up to 100 sq.m. on grass and gravel, between hard access roads, with further pitches on terraces at the rear. There are 350 pitches (240 for touring units with 6A electricity) including 40 with private bathrooms. The site can become full mid July until mid August and at Christmas. A splendid indoor swimming pool has been added and there is a heated outdoor pool, paddling pool, and tennis courts for summer use, as well as a play and activity centre. A member of Leading Campings group.

A ski lift and gentle slope are on site in winter, with horse riding on site in summer. A comprehensive wellness centre provides super fitness, massage and spa facilities with an imaginative Western theme. A lake and leisure area has been created alongside the site, together with a Western village for children. There are around 60 privately owned or rental units and 50 seasonal units on site. Note: pylons and power lines cross the site over some pitches.

Five well kept, heated sanitary blocks of excellent quality and size, each with a few washbasins in cabins for each sex, baby rooms and nine units with accessible sanitary facilities.
