Alan Rogers Review of Durrell Wildlife Camp
The world-renowned Durrell Wildlife Park is a major tourist attraction on Jersey and is home to some of the most threatened species of animal, notably gorillas, orangutans, reptiles and amphibians, but many more. The beautifully landscaped park is in the rural northwest of the island. To offer a wonderful enhancement to a visit, there is also the Camp where guests stay right beside the park with views of the nearby Lemur Lake and Orangutan Island from a luxurious camping pod. There are twelve pods, each with a facilities tent alongside that provides a kitchen and a separate shower and toilet. Access to the Wildlife Park is free.
