Dovercourt Holiday Park is a family-friendly caravan and lodge park in Essex, right next to the charming seaside town of Harwich. It boasts a fantastic location just a short walk from a Blue Flag beach, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing coastal getaway. Dovercourt Park has all the touring facilities you would expect at a site like this, as hard-standing pitches with electric hook-up points are available.
The site is packed with all the amenities needed to keep the whole family entertained whilst staying here, too, as there is a fantastic indoor swimming pool with a smaller pool for the little ones to splash around in. There are many activities here for the younger children to get involved in , such as an indoor soft play area, an outdoor children's playground, indoor rock climbing, and an indoor activities centre suitable for various ages, offering arts and crafts and sports games. For the older kids, there is a multisport pitch where you can play a game of football with new friends. A mini golf course is also perfect for a competitive match or two for the whole family. After all the activities and you are starting to feel a little hungry, the park has a newly refurbished clubhouse serving food throughout the day and offering lively entertainment for the whole family in the evenings.
The park is in a great location for exploring the surrounding area. The historic town of Harwich is just a short walk away, with its charming harbour, interesting maritime history, and traditional pubs. There are also plenty of other attractions nearby, such as Clacton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, and Colchester Zoo.
