Alan Rogers Review of Domaine Papillon
Domaine Papillon is a very pleasant site in a small valley, only 500 m. from the village of Reyrevignes located in a quiet rural area of France. It has just 37 large, level, grass pitches, with 21 for touring (all with 6A electricity). The pitches are separated by young shrubs, and mature trees offer some shade. There is a swimming pool with a poolside bar and snack bar. The buildings are of traditional Quercy stone which gives an authentic and mature feel to the place. The restaurant is in a beautifully restored barn.
The new French owners are very helpful and speak good English.
Facilities at Domaine Papillon
Very clean and well kept split-level sanitary block housing all of the facilities including showers, washbasins in cubicles, baby bath and accessible facilities. The pool area has a pleasant bar and snack bar/takeaway (June-Sept) and close by is small play area and a trampoline for children. wellness facility with sauna and massage. TV room. WiFi over site (charged).
Directions to Domaine Papillon
From A20, exit 56 Rodez, take D802 towards Figeac. After. 25 km. take D653, Assier. From Assier take D11 (Reyrevignes). Site is signed in village. Take care on narrow approach. On arrival, do not approach site reception with a caravan attached, proceed to the camping area and then walk to reception.
