Domaine de Mesqueau is a family owned campsite set in seven hectares of countryside and close to the beautiful Bay of Morlaix. It has 25 spacious pitches set amidst trees, and most have electricity (10A) and water. There are also tents and mobile homes to rent. As well as having a basic range of holiday facilities, the site is a good base for visiting the many attractions in this part of Brittany, which is well known for its attractive countryside and coastline, local food and cultural heritage. Please note that there are no facilities for emptying chemical toilets.

Finistère is an area of fishing villages and small holiday resorts. The inland port of Morlaix has pretty, narrow streets with 15th-century timber-framed houses. Nearby Morlaix Bay has many small ports and lighthouses to explore along with unspoilt beaches and a coastline with a shallow sea bed that is home to an array of flora and fauna. From Plougasnou, the Sentier des Douaniers coastal path winds along sheer granite cliffs to the sandy beaches of Trégastel, whilst in contrast the nearby Monts d’Arrée is an area of moorland. The region is well known for its local markets with an abundance of seafood and local produce which help to give it a deserved reputation for good eating.

Directions to Domaine de Mesqueau

The site is northwest of Rennes. From Rennes take E50/N12 to St Brieuc/Quimper. Exit onto D786 towards Boissière/Morlaix-Centre/Plougasnou. At second roundabout take second exit onto D46 and continue towards Poullalec. Site is signed to right after the village of Kemouster.
