Set in a secluded valley of 66 acres in the Causse de Quercy National Park, with the Dordogne River to the north and the Lot River to the south, Domaine de Bourrat is perfectly placed as your base to explore the beautiful Lot region of France. With the historic city of Cahors lying north of the site and surrounded by medieval towns and villages such as Rocamadour, St Cirq Lapopie, Sarlat and Martel there is so much to see and do including markets, local gastronomy and fine wines to discover. Activities such as horse riding, ballooning, cycling, canoeing, cave diving and walking are easily accessible as well as golf on the site’s own 9-hole golf course and swimming in the outdoor pool. Run by a Kent-based English family who relocate for the season, you have the choice of 30 grassy pitches with expansive views and with or without electric, or rental of the one mobile home or gîte on site. The gîte is the lower floor of the stone farmhouse with its own front door and a wood burner for colder nights. Home-cooked food is available at the onsite cafe, along with a bar and an outside kitchen. The village of Labastide Murat is just a few minutes’ drive away for restaurants, a supermarket and a plethora of shops.

Separate ladies and gents sanitary facilities below the bar, each with 2 toilets (with seats and loo paper!), 2 showers and 3 handbasins. Free hot water. 2 outside sinks for washing up. Washing machine. Bar and restaurant with outside kitchen and barbecue/spit roast. Terrace with tables, chairs and parasols. Private sun terrace and hot tub available at extra charge. Picnic benches in the gardens. Outside 14m x 8m swimming pool with shower, sunloungers, tables and chairs. 9-hole golf course. Croquet lawn. Petanque. Directions to Domaine de Bourrat

Take the turning for the D677 towards Labastide Murat off the A20, the site will be signed off this road and you will need to cross over the top of the motorway. After 800m you will be signed into the site drive which is roughly 1km in length and accessible for car and trailer.
